About Cue & Paddle

Table and racquet sports are full of equipment sold on materials language that sounds technical and explains nothing. Carbon layers, core densities and tip grades appear on packaging without any indication of what they do for a player at a given level. The result is beginners buying advanced equipment that actively makes the game harder, and intermediate players buying nothing useful at all.

Cue & Paddle is being built to translate. The plan is to tie every specification to a playing level and a playing style, to say clearly when an expensive option offers a beginner nothing, and to cover the regulatory side -- approved equipment lists for competitive play -- because that is where a wrong purchase becomes unusable. Table and surface reviews will cover flatness and assembly, which decide whether a table is worth having.

Cue & Paddle will be funded through affiliate commission when readers buy through its links, paid by the retailer. Recommending cheaper equipment to a beginner earns less than recommending an expensive one, and the site will do it anyway. No brand will be able to purchase a ranking or preview a verdict.
