Who is accountable
Ryder M.
Owner and operator
I am the hands-on owner behind Magoo Media Group. I build and run all 25 sites in the portfolio, I set the standards they follow, and I am the person who has to fix it when one of them is wrong.
What I am responsible for
- Every word published across the portfolio, including the pages I did not personally draft.
- The editorial standards each site is held to, and enforcing them when a page falls short.
- Deciding what gets recommended, on merit, with no input from any manufacturer.
- Answering the contact address, including the messages telling me something is wrong.
- Making corrections on the page, visibly, rather than quietly or not at all.
What I am not going to claim
This is the part of an author page that is usually padded, so here is the honest version. I have no professional certifications to list in these categories. I have no awards, no press coverage and no industry tenure figure. I am not going to invent any of them, and you should treat any review site that does with suspicion.
I am also at the very start of the published record: 1 of the 25 sites is live and the other 24 are still in build, so most of the portfolio has tested, published or recommended nothing so far. An author page listing achievements that do not exist would be the first broken promise on a site built entirely on not making them.
Why accountability instead of credentials
Credentials are a proxy for trust and a weak one in this field. There is no license to review a floor jack. What actually distinguishes a review you can use from one you cannot is whether somebody is answerable for it: a name, a method published in advance, a disclosure you can read before the links, and a route to tell them they got it wrong.
That is what I can offer, and it is checkable in a way a biography is not. The vetting checklist on the about page is the test I would want applied to me, including the three items this portfolio cannot pass yet.
Reaching me
One address, no queue: contact@magoomediagroup.com. Corrections, affiliate program verification and press questions all arrive in the same inbox and I answer them myself. There is no phone number and no office, because Magoo Media Group is an online publisher and inventing either would be the kind of detail this site exists to avoid.
More context: the about page, the editorial policy, the testing methodology, and the portfolio itself.
Think something here is wrong?
Tell me what and how you know. It gets fixed on the page, and the correction says what changed.
